Home prices in The Woodlands, TX?


In 2014, the average home price rose 7% in the Houston area. Prices should continue to rise over the next few years due to the influx of new residents moving to the Houston area. One of the main areas that will see tremendous growth is Spring, Texas. Located just south of The Woodlands, Spring has been chosen as the location for the world headquarters of Exxon Mobil. This means over 20,000 people will be moving to this area over the next few years. These people will all need a place to live. 

Right now, housing inventory in the Houston area is at historically low levels. This influx of new residents will create tremendous pressure on the housing market. It is already difficult to find a home because of the low inventory. When these new residents arrive, it will be nearly impossible to find a home.

Builders are planning on constructing over 5,000 new homes in the next few years, but it will take time for these homes to be available. When people arrive here, they will need a place to live now!

If you are shopping for a home, it makes sense to buy something quickly before this large influx of new residents moves into this area. Looking at homes for sale in The Woodlands would be a wise decision. This community is already established, and it has amenities that makes in one of the best places to live in the U.S.A.
